Christmas is a big time for families! So, as the UK’s only radio station dedicated to children and their parents, Fun Kids is in a unique position to really embrace the holidays and be the family’s radio station of choice for Christmas.
To benefit from this position, CBeebies Magazine became our Christmas Partner, providing exclusive sponsorship of our Christmas programming, including:
- Daily Father Christmas shows
- Christmas Stories
- Advent Calendar Features
- Christmas Events Guide
- Christmas Cracker Jokes
- Christmas competitions
This went alongside dedicated adverts and brand mentions, providing extensive exposure across Fun Kids programming. With multiple creatives sponsorship allowed a number of ways to communicate and engage with their target audience.
This was truly a multi-platform campaign. There was CBeebies Magazine branding on all online Christmas pages, including an Advent Calendar splash page, pre-rolls on the Christmas video content and iPad splash page creatives.

On air promotion reached over 320,000 listeners, delivering 19.5 million impacts.
The online activity generated over 220,000 impressions for CBeebies Magazine, reaching 130,000 unique users. The online pages also generated significant numbers of click-thrus.
On demand there were 7,500 views of the Daily Advent Videos.
Finally, the CBeebies Magazine multi-platform competitions had over 1,200 entrants and generated an opt-in database of parents for further direct promotion.
